Seats
Most 3 wheel double buggies begin life as single pushchairs. However, some can be converted to take an additional seat or carrycot by converting adapters (these are usually more common in tandem buggies). Some models allow you to add an additional board for older kids who are ready to walk, but require a little help.
Check out the Joie Evalite Duo for a lightweight option perfect for city streets. It's easy to maneuver and has a deep basket with plenty of storage space. Suspension
The suspension of a triple wheeled buggy will determine the ease with which you and your child/children are able to push it. It is important to have a smooth ride as babies can feel every bump on the road. This is particularly the case if you're driving on rough terrain such as grass or roads that aren't paved. Some models have locking front tires that help maneuver and get over obstacles like curbs.
Some models have tyres with air filled that are ideal for all-terrain riding, however they are susceptible to punctures. Be sure to keep a spare set of tyres in the trunk. Some models have gel or foam tyres, designed to take the bumps and are less prone to punctures but you might feel a bit stiff and uncomfortable for your child's back should you choose to jog.

The Urban Glide 2 has a lot of features, including an enormous seat unit that comes with a padded cover as well as a hood that has 50+ UV protection, and rechargeable and easy-to use visibility lights.
Folding
A 3-wheel double buggy can fold quite well to be stored. There are options that fold flat and stand up (as as if they were a pushchair) and also pop out to reveal a more umbrella-style folding with a hand-operated break. The more wheels a buggy has, in general, the easier it is to maneuver over rough terrain. This is particularly relevant when the wheels are bigger than average. This will give you more stability and make it less likely that your child will fall over or tip over.
The most popular model is the iCandy Wave, which can be used from birth using an infant car seat and then converts to a side-by-side double buggy when your child is old enough for them to be seated next to each other. It's also designed to withstand a bit rough terrain which makes it a great option for family walks or all-terrain walks.
